Kenya’s Opposition Leader Kalonzo Musyoka Unveils 10 By-Election Candidates

Wiper Patriotic Front Party Leader HE Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka today unveiled ten candidates for the elective seats in the upcoming November 27, 2025 By-Elections at WPF party headquarters in Nairobi.

Dr Musyoka was accompanied by Secretary General Senator Shakila Abdalla, Executive Director Benson Milai, Deputy Minority Leader and MP for Kathiani Hon Robert Mbui and MP for Embakasi South Hon Julius Mawathe, and the Head of our Elections Board Agatha Solitei, among other county leaders.

The candidates that will be flying WPF flag for the first time since the name change are:
1. Eng. Johannes Orodi Dovens Odhiambo, vying for the Ugunja parliamentary seat in Siaya County;
2. Samuel Kombe Nzai for the Magarini parliamentary seat in Kilifi County;
3. Dyone Mbare Oluoch for the Kasipul parliamentary seat in Homabay County; 4. Antony Kyalo Kisoi – Mumbuni North Ward in Machakos County;
5. Francis Kivuva – Narok Town Ward, Narok County; 6. Lopeyok Kiyoi Lokero Peter – Nanaam Ward, Turkana County; 7. Shem Nyanumba Makori, Ekerenyo Ward, Nyamira County;
8. James Obebo Kamanda – Nyamaiya Ward, Nyamira County;
9.Kavali Munyoki – Kariobangi Ward, Nairobi County; and,
10. Alex Obare Nyantika, Nyansiongo Ward, Nyamira County.

Dr Musyoka said that this group” represented WPF’s aspirations and vision for our country and that together we shall #KomboaKenya.”
